Shipping & Fulfillment / Delivery Policy

Prerniva Foundation operates as a non-profit organisation providing social welfare services. We do not sell, ship or deliver any physical products. This policy explains how a donation is fulfilled digitally.

1. No Physical Products Are Shipped

Prerniva Foundation is not an e-commerce business. Payments received through this website are voluntary charitable donations towards our education, health, women empowerment, youth, child development and community development programmes.

  • No goods, merchandise, physical products or tangible items are sold on this website.
  • Consequently, no shipping, courier, logistics, packaging or delivery charges are ever levied.
  • No shipping address is required to complete a donation; a postal address is requested only where a donor asks for a printed acknowledgement.
  • Any 'fulfillment' under this policy refers solely to the electronic delivery of a donation receipt and related communication.

2. Digital Fulfillment of a Donation

Upon a successful donation, the following are generated and delivered digitally to the email address provided by the donor:

  • An instant on-screen confirmation with the transaction reference number.
  • An acknowledgement email confirming receipt of the contribution.
  • A digital donation receipt in PDF format bearing the donor's name, amount, date and transaction reference.
  • A digital 80G tax exemption receipt, where the donor is eligible and has provided a valid PAN.

3. Delivery Timeline

The digital tax exemption / donation receipt is generated and emailed to the donor within 24 to 48 hours of a successful donation, subject to successful confirmation of the payment by our gateway partner and bank.

  • Payment confirmation and on-screen acknowledgement: immediate.
  • Acknowledgement email: usually within a few minutes to a few hours.
  • Digital donation receipt and 80G receipt (PDF): within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Offline donations by cheque, demand draft or bank transfer: within 5 to 7 working days of the amount being credited and realised.

Delivery may occasionally take slightly longer during bank holidays, financial year-end reconciliation, or if the payment gateway delays settlement confirmation.

4. Requirements for Receiving Your Receipt

  • A valid and correctly spelled email address must be provided at the time of donation.
  • PAN is mandatory for issuing an 80G tax exemption receipt under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • The donor name on the receipt will match the name entered in the donation form and cannot be changed to a different person after issuance.
  • 80G receipts are issued in accordance with the Foundation's valid registration and applicable statutory conditions.

5. If You Have Not Received Your Receipt

If 48 hours have passed and you have not received your receipt, please first check your spam, promotions and junk folders. If it is still not there, write to us at Inquiry@prernivafoundation.in or call +91 84473 08407 with your name, donation amount, date and transaction reference. We will re-issue and resend the receipt promptly.

6. Printed Receipts and Impact Material

A physical, signed copy of a donation receipt can be posted on request to donors within India, ordinarily within 10 to 15 working days, at no cost to the donor. Occasionally, and entirely at the Foundation's discretion, we may send printed impact reports or greeting material to long-standing supporters. Such despatches are goodwill gestures and are not purchased products.

7. Related Policies

Because no physical products are sold, there is no return or exchange process. Please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy for the terms applicable to donations, and to our Privacy Policy for how your contact and PAN details are protected.
